Achille Castiglioni

He graduated at the Politecnico di Milano in 1944; after his graduation he began his professional experience at the studio of his brothers Livio and Pier Giacomo, located in piazza Castello in Milan, while developing projects of city planning, architecture, exhibition design, and product design. In 1944 he partecipated, together with his prothers, at the VII Triennale di Milano where he presented “RR126”, a radio system for the industrial production. Among his many and famous projects, the seats “Mezzadro” andd “Sella” (1957), the armchair “Sanluca” (1959), the floor lamps “Luminator” (1955) and “Arco” (1962), the table lamp “Taccia” (1962).
